Music composed and performed...
Around 2005, I was playing around with software called "Propellerhead Reason" - it's a virtual recording studio kitted out with synths, sequencers, samplers, full mixing desk, effects and production, got a bit carried away and made an entire album of Synth-based music tracks. They are now released under the Creative-Commons Attribution Licence, which means you can use them for free, so long as you mention me (Scott Hather) as the composer/producer/performer.
This one is my latest (September 2017) - Really like how this turned out.
This first one got airplay on "My spirit radio" - it's generally an up-beat synthpop instrumental.
This next track, I experimented with using a session vocalist to make a catchy pop song...
Another vocal track, this time just a small sample vocal phrase...
This is a full-on Orchestral piece, really pleased how it turned out. Remember, this is 100% software, no real orchestra!
"2012" is not about the gross-misinterpretation by the media about the Mayan prophecy, but what I believe actually happened in that year: The earth passed a threshold, it changed to being slightly more positive than it was before, for a very long time indeed, so the piece is uplifting, positive and contains hope for our future.
